This post is part of a Series and I therefore request you to please read the earlier posts before you read this one. (Read: The Kingdom of God Series)
In this post we will talk about how every child who is born into the Kingdom is blessed by God to be a lender. The bible teaches that if you are a child of God, God wants to bless the work of your hands so much that you will be in a position to lend to many nations. (Deuteronomy 28:12-13) (Deuteronomy 28:8)
God feels very strongly about His children being the lenders and not the borrowers. The bibles says: The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. (Proverbs 22:7) It is very clear in this verse that God wants you to be rich and lend. However, we get ourselves into debt because of various reasons. The Good News is that God wants to help you out of debt. There are many stories in the bible where God has supernaturally cancelled the debts of people. (2 Kings 4:1-5) (2 Kings 6:1-6) (Matthew 17:24-26) (Deuteronomy 15:1-11) Therefore, I believe that God will do the same for you.
When you enter the Kingdom of God with debt, your debt becomes the Kingdom's debt and the King of Kings will see to it that it is cancelled by His grace and power.
As you begin the journey to take possession of the promise of a debt free life you may have to face and defeat giants like in the story of the Israelites. But I would like to encourage you with the words that God spoke to Joshua as he walked towards the land of promise-
God said: No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage...
God said: No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage...
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:4-9)
