This post is part of a Series and I therefore request you to please read the earlier posts before you read this one. (Read: The Kingdom of God Series)
The bible says: for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17)
In earlier the post I introduced the doctrine that all Christians are saints. In this post we will about this in greater detail.
I believe, if you are a born-again Christian, you should have a Kingdom walk and mind-set. It is very important for you to understand who you are in the Kingdom and walk in that reality. The bible calls this the renewing of your mind. (Romans 12:1-2)
God offers every child in the Kingdom the gift of righteousness. (Romans 5:17) This becomes yours the day you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and are born-again.
The gift of righteousness is right-standing with God. It is the ability to stand before God without guilt, condemnation or inferiority. (Romans 8:1)
In the Kingdom of God every son is united with Jesus Christ in the Spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:17) The bible teaches that you are in Christ or hid in Christ. (Colossians 3:3) Just like Jesus is so are you. (1 John 4:17) This is one of the most important Kingdom mindsets that you should receive.
Your Spirit is one with Jesus and just like Him. If you apply the doctrine of unity with God to the gift of righteousness you get this life-transforming truth that God made Jesus righteous and put you in Christ and therefore made you righteousness in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:21) Selah.
Therefore the only way a Christian can loose his righteousness is if Jesus looses His righteousness. When Adam sinned, we were all made sinners. Similarly, when Jesus sins, all born-again Christians will be made sinners. (Romans 5:18-19) However, this is impossible because Jesus is God and He will never fall. This is the wisdom of God in a mystery. (1 Corinthians 2:7)
Now lets make what we have learnt practical. How do we live this out on a daily-basis?
For starters, we never have to feel condemned ever again and we never have to feel unworthy to receive anything from God. The thought that you are unworthy to approach God can be deleted forevermore. God will neither get angry with you, nor rebuke you (Isaiah 54:9 ) nor say 'no' to you ever again. (2 Corinthians 1:20)
In the Kingdom of God, this should be your new mindset: You were unworthy, you are still unworthy in the flesh but Jesus Christ has made you worthy in the Spirit. Selah.
