I have already taught, that when you receive Jesus Christ as Lord, God changes your Nature and you are made Spiritually Alive. I spoke about how Spiritual Life and Righteousness Nature are closely linked. I urge you to go through the earlier post before you read this one. So now lets continue:
2 Corinthians 517
Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
God has changed your Nature. When you receive Jesus Christ as Lord, God removes the Sin Nature and puts within you a Righteousness Nature. God changes your position from a state of separation from God to a state where you are in right standing with God.
When you receive Jesus Christ as Lord, you do not change physically. You will not grow any taller. You will not grow any shorter either. I am sure if you ran to mirror the day you received Jesus Christ as Lord, to see whether the old things are passed away, you would have surely been disappointed. Your nose, hair, eyes, face, and physique are all still the same. At the time of your Salvation you are not changed physically. God changes you on the inside, in your Spirit.

For it is written:
Ezekiel 36:25-27
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new Spirit will I put within you:
And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgements and do them.
The prophet Ezekiel prophesied about what Salvation would be like. God clearly says that he will give you a New Spirit. And it is this new Spirit that has Righteousness (right standing with God).
