Who we are in Christ - 7

I began a teaching from the last two posts on the functions of the Spirit, Soul and body. I urge you to go through them before you read this one. 

The functions of the Spirit, Soul and body are as follows:

Body - Bone, Flesh and Blood

Soul - Intellect, Emotions and Will

Spirit - Intuition, Communion and Conscience

In this post we will talk about Blood, Will and Conscience. What the blood does for body, the Will does for the Soul and the Conscience does for the Spirit. That is why I have put them one below another. It is very important for the blood to flow freely, without any obstructions through the body to keep it functioning. The same is true for the Will. God has given man a free-will (the power to choose) and any obstruction to this free-will, prohibits the proper functioning of the soul.

God did not create
Man to be a robot

In the garden of Eden, God said to Adam, "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt die."  (Genesis 2:16-17) I have heard a lot of people say that God should not have put this tree in the garden of Eden. If there was no tree, Man would have never sinned. But think about that for a moment. God did not create Man to be his puppet.  Man is not a robot. God does not push a button and make Man do things. It was God's will from the very beginning that Man should serve and love God out of his own free-will. That is why God gave Man a choice in the Garden of Eden, to either love God and serve him or reject him and say I do not want God, I want to live the way I want to live. God never forces anything on Man. And that is because, God truly loves, respects and honors Man. 

For it written:

Revelations 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

When you received Jesus Christ as Lord,  I am sure he did not come and choke your neck and say you better believe in me, right now! Not at all, if anything he knocked, you heard his voice, you opened the door and he came into your Life. That is just how God his.
