This post is part of a Series and I therefore request you to please read the earlier posts before you read this one. (Read: The Kingdom of God Series)
In this post, I would like to talk about the House that God our Father dwells in.
“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. (Revelations 21:3)
The House of God |
The main reason I want you to see the Father's House is to capture the prosperity of God.
When a rich man builds his son a house, does he build him a hut? Certainly not, he will build him a house just as lavish as his own. Similarly a prosperous and wealthy God will want his children to live just like Him.
God gave the first man Adam thousands of trees for provision. (Genesis 1:29) For water, God provided 4 rivers. We also read that gold and gems stones were available on the banks of the river in abundance and God said that it was good. (Genesis 2:10-14) This is how our Father is. When it comes to providing for His children it is always in super-excess and overflowing quantities.
When you are born-again and enter the Kingdom of God, God becomes your provider. In most cases I have seen that God wants to provide far greater than we want to receive. God wanted to give the Israelites a land flowing with milk and honey. The Bible says: “So it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant—when you have eaten and are full—
The Israelites did not enter into the promise of God because they did not mix what they heard with faith. (Hebrews 4:2)
It is my prayer that you will not limit God. God wants you to be a person who can lend to nations. (Deuteronomy 28:12) He wants to bless the works of your hands so much that your nation will look at you and say: you have become mightier than us. (Genesis 26:12-16) And after that God wants to bless you still more. (Psalms 115:14)
It is only when we believe God and like Mary say- Let it be to me according to your word. (Luke 1:38) that God can bring these things to pass in our lives. Selah.
