I encourage you to read the previous post before you read this one. (The Husband - I) In the book of Ephesians, Paul continues his instructions to Husbands by talking about their responsibility in the household to teach their wives the Word of God. (Ephesians 5:26-27) God has put the responsibility of being a teacher upon every Husband. (Hebrews 5:12)
The Bible also teaches woman not to be Spiritual leaders in the household. (1 Timothy 2:12-13) This does not mean that she cannot share what God has revealed to her with her husband or children. It simply means that a woman cannot take up the responsibility of leadership. A woman can be a leader in the workplace; she can be a leader in the church (Acts 18:26) but when she takes up this responsibility in the household and the husband neglects it, things go out of balance. And when things go wrong in the family, the Bible puts the blame on the Man and not the Woman because it was, is and always will be HIS responsibility to lead the family in the things of the God and not his wife's. We read in scriptures that Adam sinned but Eve was deceived. (1 Timothy 2:14) It is like one preacher said: No matter what the situation is, it is always the Man's fault. [It is the man's fault because he neglected the responsibility of teaching his family the Word of God]
The time has come for Men to understand that they are one with Christ and can be Spiritual leaders in the household. With you in Christ and Christ in you, you can draw on the Revelation that is inside of you and teach the Bible to your family just like Christ. [Christ himself will teach you and speak through you by the Holy Spirit and power]

In the Garden of Eden we read about how Adam neglected his responsibility of leading his family in the things of God. God commanded Adam: Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. (Genesis 2:16-17) This command was given by God to Man and not to Woman. It was Adam's responsibility to teach his wife.
God also gave Adam the work of tending and protecting the Garden. It was Adam's responsibility to protect his wife and household from the Devil's lies.
Even today, God calls husbands to protect their wives and households from the Devil and his lies.
I heard a story about a Man who was millions of dollars in debt. His family was falling apart. But one day he got hold of some teachings from a preacher about Prosperity. He began listening to the messages over and over again and finally realized that God would deliver him and his family from their bondage. He was quick to teach his family the truths from the Bible and encouraged them to stand on the Word. He was a man who took his responsibility seriously. He told his family that- this is what the Bible says, so this is what we are going to believe, no matter what! Today this man is very prosperous and successful.
When Adam failed to take his responsibility seriously the entire human race fell into sin.
But when a man does take up the responsibility of leading the family spiritually, great things happen. The family prospers and family life becomes healthy and joyous! Take the life of Abraham for example. God specially blessed him because he knew that Abraham would teach his family the things of God. God said: For I know him, that he will command his children and household after him... (Genesis 18:18-19)
That is why Abraham lived a very prosperous life and went on to become the father of many Nations.
As a father, every man also has responsibility of teaching his children the Word of God. This does not mean that you line up your family every night before you and preach to them but it does mean that you make it a point to convey bible truth during the daily course of the day while you talk and interact with them. (Deuteronomy 11:19-21) (Proverbs 22:6)
