I heard a preacher once say: Only the person with an aerial view of the mountain can know which path leads to the top. A person who has no access to this view can only guess and hope that the path he is on will get him there.
In this article I will share with you why I strongly believe that Jesus Christ and what he did for us through his death, burial and resurrection is the only way to God. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
Hours before the death of Jesus, Jesus Christ went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. The bible teaches that He was sorrowful and deeply distressed. The thought of bearing the sin of the whole world and the punishment of all that sin was heavy upon Him. (1 John 2:2) Three times, He prayed this prayer to the Father, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; Nevertheless, not as I will but as you will.” But Jesus received no answer. (Matthew 26:36-46)
When Jesus prayed this prayer, he was saying: God, you are all powerful. Nothing is impossible for you. If there is any other way to save men, then let us do it that way, but not as I will but as you will. Is there a plan B? The truth is, even Almighty God, had no plan B. God could have stopped Jesus Christ from dying if there was an other way to God, but he did not. Why the blood shed? Why the death on the cross? Stop and think about it for a while.
God said through the silence that there is no other way Son. The only way is for you to die for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:2)
God said through the silence that there is no other way Son. The only way is for you to die for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:2)
The God of heaven and earth speaks to you today. God became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ and told us exactly what we needed to know. We no longer have to guess and hope. Jesus said: I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
This is God’s way and we are all invited to receive it with thanksgiving and reverence.
